I am a DIY Bride and I have found this site to be very helpful. I plan on making some of the signs they show on their website for my wedding. I have found doing stuff myself really saves on money and I also really enjoy doing it.
I'm pretty crafty, so I've taken on quite a few DIY projects. I've also ordered several items from etsy (love that place.) If you're still stuck on doing it all, etsy is a great site to become inspired (re: steal ideas from.)
I have read about this site in a lot of my wedding books but I just visited and it has so many neat thins. Even if you just want a few DIY touches for your wedding this is a great way to add a personal touch and it doesnt have to cost a lot.
I am definitely considering using etsy for some of the DIY projects I had planned to do myself. I love DIY and I do want to do some things myself but I know I'll be overwhelmed if I take on too much. So, I'm delegating some of my DIY projects to etsy sellers, so I can still get what I want and have it be unique while keeping it affordable.

I am using it to stamp on the inside of our wooden favor boxes.
But I might also use them to stamp on cocktail napkins, tags, pretty much anything....
i loveee etsy! i've spent hours on there searching for ideas... i've gotten my veil, BM gifts and flower girl gift off etsy. the sellers on there are specialized and could do a much better job than i could alone.
